Something Sweet Dessert Cafe

Anna Madden graduated from the New York Restaurant School in 1995.  She began her career working for Sylvia Weinstock in Manhattan, where she learned the fine techniques that are involved in wedding cake design and creation.  In the late 1990s and early 2000s, Anna continued her career with various other caterers and bakers in NYC and the Hudson Valley.  In 2002, Anna and Dave Madden purchased a vacant building in the Historic Business District of Middletown NY and began a renovation that would result in Something Sweet Dessert Cafe.  Something Sweet opened for business March 27, 2004.
